Quench the Day Release Date

Hey guys! Sorry for the extended silence again... Things keep happening, and I'm a little freaked out today.
Last month when it was the beginning of the year and I had grandiose plans of blogging every week, I started writing a blog post about why I choose to write (and read) fantasy so much. The thing was, though, that I just didn't know where to start. It's something that's really important to me, and really big and complex in my mind, and I wanted to make it all neat and meaningful for y'all. But I paused, and the pause became a lengthy break... and here we are a month later and...
But anyway, that's what happened to the missing blogs posts. I'm hoping to jump back in and finish that one, but no promises that it will be next week, because in the mean time, while I've been racing full steam ahead with revisions on Quench the Day, the first book in my Red Wolf Trilogy, it hit me-- I HAVE A DEADLINE!
Let the mass hysteria, panic, and hyperventilation begin.
It's like this: Abby, who's doing my cover design, is also standing in as my technical person, And she's going to be leaving on a three-month missions trip to Japan at the end of April, Lord willing. Without going into excruciating detail, what that means is that I have to have my final page count before she goes, so we can set everything up and correctly size the book cover. Ah, the joys of being an indie author! Ha!
What that means for you is that you can expect some updates soon! Ones that I'm pretty excited about, including a cover reveal, possibly a sample first chapter, and some giveaways! I'm setting a tentative release date for May 1st. Eeeeeeek!!!!!!
Prayers are always appreciated, especially since I've been really struggling this month with some of my old battles with anxiety and adrenal fatigue, and I'm pretty much relying on God to help me pull this off and come out on the other side of winter relatively sane. Thanks to everyone who has been faithfully following my blog and my writing journey. You all the best!
